Nice

Liked the ambiance of this song, it made me feel depressed lol. The chord progression was nice and well written. The guitar sounded synthetic but rather good actually. The main problem was the sound quality like Wyldfyre said. Try to turn down the level of the mater track, remove a little of medium pitched frequences on the piano and it should work ; ). But yeah, the song was very good. 5'd 3.29 / 5.00 (+ 0.11). Keep it up \m/

yepa, i had bad mood, and i wrote this one.
okey, thaks a lot for adivces!!!

Brootal

OMG, that was brootal as fuck dude. AND melodic, you did a nice mix of the heavyness of the riffs with the melodies ; ). Nicely done, maybe a little short, but not very important indeed. 5'd as always 4.29 / 5.00 (+ 0.00082) \m/

O.o

You are a fuckin' shredder dude. You rock a lot. I'm fuckin' impressed. I really dug the melodic part, this was beautiful. And the flanger at the end was nice : ). And I say it again, this backing track is freaking damn awesome. And Jon sucks :P.
Lol 5'd dude 3.96 / 5.00 (+ 0.36)

That was bad ass dude ! You are a amazing drummer. You recording quality is very professional ! Omg ... Good guitar work too. This song sounded very Metallica-ish :P. Keep it up \m/

SlaveLabor responds:

Thanks for the Review!

Incredible

I'm in love with this song dude ! I love the intruments you used it this piece. This song has a jazzy feeling thanks to the sax and a drum and bass feelibg thanks to the bass and the drums lines. Very catchy I must say. The sax was great, did you played it yourself or was it a VST or a program ? In any case it sounds great :P. Thanks for submitting good music to NG. 5'd and faved as well. 4.30 / 5.00 (+ 0.031) \m/

TimeBender responds:

That was VST+reverb+delay and many other effects i used to create a LIVE sound.

Intense

Yeah, that was intense. This sounded incredebly awesome. Very very well written. What softwares are you using for the orchestral section ? That sounded very realistic and intense. Though from 1:18 to 1:44, you can't differenciate the notes very well. But I really enjoyed the diminished scale stuff at 0:45 : ). This one deserve a big 5/5 and more than 3.95 / 5.00 (+ 0.072) for sure. Keep it up man \m/

SinJim responds:

Thanks Sonofkirk for the review. I use Logic Studio 8 and their orchestral samples are pretty good. Granted, I always want better quality samples but I don't have the $5k to shell out for the stuff I'd want. Anyhow, with a bit (or a lot haha) of tweaking, I can make these sound pretty good so I'm content for the time being. I'm glad you liked this one, I did try a risky route for madness but hey, oh well. Oh yea, and you gotta the diminished stuff :). Listening through again it does get rather busy during that section, I may go back and fiddle with a couple pans and reverbs to see if I can free up some space in the stereo field.

Thanks for the support, votes, and comments.

Hell yeah

That was fuckin' great dude, you are really incredible ; ). The slow part with the chorus on the bass was really nice dude. Well done. Can I do the drum track on this one and Danny do the guitars ? I would be awsome ; ). 5'd fucker 4.62 / 5.00 (+ 0.062)

MindOverMatt responds:

Dude, thank you! It's really flattering to hear that from you. I love what you've been doing, so to hear you say that is fucking awesome! Yeah, I thought I was taking a risk putting the chorus on that part but you liking it lays my worries to rest. Thanks for the listen, the awesome review, and the kick ass vote! I'll tell Danny you're down to do the drums! Thanks my man!

Really great intro dude, nice clean sound and I liked this "violin" guitar at the begining, you did it very nicely. The voice was great, from where are these samples ? Or did you recorded them yourself ? In any case it sounds great. Though, when the song gets heavy, the guitar are not loud and powerful enough compared to the drum. Turn that guitar up !!! lol This is only thing I have to complai about, dude. That rocked. 5'd as well. 4.44 / 5.00 (+ 0.053)

pitchblak responds:

Thanx for the vote and review man, Glad ya dig it. The effect at the beginning did sound a bit like a violin but was actually some effect on my pedal with a swell added to it, just liked the erie sound it gave, anyways, i got the voice samples from the classic black & white * Return of the Living Dead * I kinda like my drums to be up more than alot of NGrs do. I like to be able to hear the kick drum stand out. Everybody has different prefferences and opinions though ya know.Anyways, rock on man.

OMFG

Yeah Darkside, you are right, this track doesn't need any solo to be awesome. This is fuckin' insane. I'm amazed. I'll give a try, but there is a lot of backing track I have to give a try (the Shawn's one, the other one by Sorohan etc ...). I have nothing to say about this piece of art. 5'd 4.45 / 5.00 (+ 0.036) Keep it up \m/

Ps : Are you a robot ?

Well done

This is not real soloing it's more melodies but it rocks fucker ! Really well exectuted, dude. Your tone was perfect. I'm amazed. Haha I love the end at 1:12, this is epic lol. Keep it up dude, you seriously rock. I gave this challenge a try, give it a listen ; ).
Keep it up \m/. 5'd 4.00 / 5.00 (+ 0.0084)

Enjoy my music :)
