Not bad

I first sight, this songs sounds messy as hell but after two listens it get more understandable. It would seems that you tried to catch a "Mario" feeling, and I have to admit that you didn't failed, these little sounds were quite good : ). Though, it wasn't long enough, and it need more variations. For example a tonality switch or a more complexe chord progression would make it more catchy and intressting. Owing to this lack of originality, the songs get boring after a few listens.

Needs improvement

There wasn't a solid strucure in this song, and overall, it sounded quite "messy" if I dare to say. Unless the unoriginality of the begining, it wasn't bad but when it get rhythmed, it sounded unsynchronized. Then it gets better but you need to work more with the drums. From 1:17 to the end, it has nothing in common with the beginin of the song and all these "explosion" sounds made the song ununderstandable. It really needs work.

Way to repetitive !! (lol Corky)

Please diversify this melody, it get's boring very quikly. The chord progression wasn't complexe enough, those two chords were not enough at all. The progression was something like : C major then D minor and it repeat over and over, you should diverify this progression with more complex chords ; ). Though the intruments were quite nice and I see that you put a lot of effort here ; ). You really catched a good "happy" feeling with this song, well done. Voted 4.

Liked the ambiance a lot

I liked it a lot actually, the chord progression was very good, those two chords sound great. The first chord is somthing like a Abmin9 and it sounds very awesome :P. You did a nice job with the drums, I enjoyed the effect you added there, it sounds old school lol. And the bass part was groovy as hell, it give this piece a Funky feeling ; ). Nice job with the synth pad, this is what give this song an ambiante feeling. => This could fits very well in the Fusion category, but Ambiante works well.

The only thing I could complain about, is the repetiveness of this piece, I know it's an ambiant song but a melody or a theme could be a good improvment in my opinion ; ). So a 8 from me : -1 because it's a little repetitive and -1 because I can't find the second chord of the song lol. Great job with this piece bro. 5'd.

This is the kind of rap I'm a fan of ... this grooves as hell. Loved when you say " fuckers hiGH !!!". OMG, the chord progression was epic, the guitar has a very clean tone, loved it. This reminds me good times ... yeah I used to listen rap ... \m/. Keep on doing amazing music brother. 5'd 4.20 / 5.00 (+ 0.24)

OMG this is brutal

This song kicked my ass when I heared the first note ... omg, wicked. The drums was nice IMO, the snare was fuckin' heavy, full of high pichted frequences. Reich, a classical guitar player ? NO FUCKIN' WAY !! That was freaking beautiful dude. Loved it a lot. Very emotional and clean palying. The sound was good also for a $30 mic lol. I love playing acoustic classical peices, it lets you get that orchestral sound i got a little catching up to do on my technique and start incorporating my ring finger into the mix. THat should help with my consistancy a bit. I just have to unlearn bad habits. Thanks a lot and keep a look out for more acoustic jams.

Loved the ambiance at the begning, dark. Jon did an awesome job as always, he has a very specific and recongnisable way to sweep :P. The first solo has a old Metallica feeling, it sounds a bit like Ride The Lightning. And the second was epic as fuck. Nice combination of the lead and back vocals, your voice made me think of Maiden a little lol. And good bass work : ). Keep it up guys, Monolith rocks \m/ 5'd 4.47 / 5.00 (+ 0.025)

OMG kick ass !

This is a masterpiece. The music was really kick ass. Nice guitar and drums, though, the quality was weird, it would seems that there is a flanger on the drums ... lol. But kick ass. This is kick ass dude. Great clean tone at the begining, very bassy, hehe I love this :P. Though at 00:03 there is a little "clip", this isn't very important but yeah. Also when the dist guitar plays the first B at 00:14, you could add a drum kick and a cymbal hit. This is just my opinion though :P. Otherwise, awesome guitar tone and very good drum programming. Nice bass too ; ). I'm really looking forward listening the finished product : ). Exept from the two things I mentioned above, it's pretty great. A 9/10 and a 5 from me. Keep it up \m/
