Didn't I reviewed it ?

I could swear I reviewed it before ... nevermind.

I'm sure you know that my hobbie is progressive riffs ... I freaking loved this. The drums sounded great, this must be your old setup, kick ass. Pretty good riff, very powerful and clean. The clean part reminded me of ...And Justice For All, the sound is very Metallica-ish. It's a great tribute to your friend's Mother, I hope you friend is now fine.

Dimoria responds:

Yeah man ;) Ofcourse. I also like progressive riffs :)
I've never actually heard And justice for all. Forgive me. But the black album was sort of the only album I really listened to with metallica :)
Cheers.

Sick

That was totally wicked bro, as always I must say. The first riff with the light distortion was very tasty. Then it get insane, awesome drum fill at 0:03, Sup 2.0 is the shit. Then the riff was pure Swedish material, I mean pure kick ass material ^^. You Swedish guys are all talented ... I'm jalous. Great vocals, I'm surprised by to great quality, very well done. Overall, a good test. I can expect a larger length since it's a test, but I really dug it. 5'd.

Dimoria responds:

Sweet man ;) I wanted sort of a contrast between the main riff and the first.
I can't really agree with the drums. They work on this song. But I like sup 1 more. But since I have vista it doesn't work like it used to :/
Swedish guys aren't more talented then any other nations out there :)
I actually have almost the full song of this one. But I'm gona rerecord almost all of the guitars because I want a different sound .
Glad you liked it though ;D
Was fun to make some vokills for once.
Cheers.

Beautiful

I enjoyed the crisp and crystal-ish guitar sound, the reverb was very well mixed and the overall ambiance made me think of some water in a magic spring (I'm such a poet lol). The chord progression reminded me of a song by John 5, I think the song is called "2 Die 4". It an acoustic piece with a similar ambiance. I don't have anything to complain about since it's perfect. 5'd.

Eternalreich responds:

sweet ill check it out, and in the meantime listen to some morbid angel.

Maiden !

Instrumental-wise, it sounded very Maiden-ish, especially at the begining. Though, it gets progressive after the first music, I freaking enjoyed it. You guys are fucking virtuosos, it make me dream :3. Incredible guitar job as always, respect. The vocals were great, I loved how there are sometimes clean vocals and then bloody ass vocals, excellent mix. At 1:55, the vocals reminded me of Judas Priest, a very good point in my opinion. Overall this is a masterpiece, the sound quality could have been better, it's obvious, though I like this oldschool touch. It reminds me of Maiden and old Metallica, so I can't complain. 5'd.

Eternalreich responds:

Most excellent keep up the metal fury.

Great

Really well composed, as always. You have a very specific sound and since the first second of this song, I knew it was you :P

I must say the begining was a bit abrupt, a slow intro wouldn't be a bad idea, I think. Though, the rest is pure bad ass, the "creaking" at 0:05 and later in the song were great, it gave the song a pretty tasty dark ambiance. Then, when the vocals came in at 0:28, it surprised me, I think you should turn down the volume of the vocals. Then it gets better. And the ending was epic as always, the bells were a great addition, this is the little thing that make the song awesome :P.

Hum, a great piece here. A bit short in my opinion but it loops so it's alright. Nothing else to complain about, just thanks for submitting good pieces.

MaestroRage responds:

I agree with you, under normal conditions I would agree a slow opening would be good. However we are looking at an intense scenerio that doesn't relax until it's over, so the song must loop, and it must be intense from step one.

The tenor voice, though I agree, is loud, it wasn't that much louder in the mix for me... I hope this is not going to be a problem, I should have sent the song around and seen if it performed well on other systems. Thanks for the heads up.

You're more then welcome sonofkirk! Thank you for the review, i'm glad you enjoyed it!

Haha awesome

Lol, "Happy Birthday" Metalized ... never saw this before. Greatly done, the drums sounded a bit progressive so I like it :P. Good guitar job also. Though, it's pretty short, lol. Seriously the end was awesome and I want more, so can you please make a fucking extended version ? You better do this, or ... I come in Canada and will regret it haha.

Keep up the great work my big dude 5'd \m/

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Haha, thats all it takes to get people to come to Canada? Just be lazy and not finish anything? haha.
Thanks for the review, son. Seriously, come to Canada.

Humm

First thing I noticed, the beat was too repetitive in my opinion it lacked of originality. I got bored very quickly. Also the chord progression was way too simple and it accentuated the boring side of the song. Like Deflektor said, the drum kick saturates sometimes, you could fix it easily decreasing the gain of the kick. Otherwise, the instruments you chose aren't bad but it could be better so yeah keep trying and you will get better : ).

Swerve responds:

The beat is not the most interesting I've made, I know.. But this many comments about it?:P The chord progression was pretty simple yeah.. Cm G Am F If I'm correct.. So yeah, that was not very groundbreaking or anything haha.
I have improved, this track was submitted about a month ago, so that's long enough to improve.
Thanks for the review!

Nice

Good job, dude. I don't listen to Video Game audio very often but I liked this one, I enjoyed the quality.

Good choice of intruments. You did a nice use of FL Studio, I'm getting tired of all these guys that don't know how to use it and that post on here. Finally a good production : ). Yeah I enjoyed the instruments, the beat was nice.

Good job with the melodies, it was pretty simple but effective and very catchy. I enjoyed the chromatism from 0:31 to 0:33, it gave the song an epic feeling, nice addition. Though the overall sound quality was a little "cloudy", maybe it was expected : ).

Hey, man. Thanks for the great review. It's great to get some good detail in positive feedback like this. Thanks. :D

POP

Loved the vocoder, I gave the song a really nice feeling, you really can play all the style of music, I hate you so much lol. Gread distortion guitar tone, neat. And the snare sounded so great, this program has a fantastic power, I have to download it.
Your voice is great also, well done. Keep it up : ). 5.

Dimoria responds:

I actually made it with extremly much autotuning just to show a friend how fucking annoying it is :p You can also play all sorts of music. All music styles are connected. I still have lots of trouble with already written jazz. If you know how I mean. Cheers.

Short, fuck you

Why the fuck did you submitted this ? I hated it because it was a preview. And I hate previews because it make me looking forward for the finished product and the finished piece never comes ... Sucks.

Lol no it's was good as fuck. EWQL rocks hard. You have a fantastic taste with the melody. All these Swedish are fuckin' virtuosos, I hate you lol. Keep it up and make it longer please. 5'd.

Dimoria responds:

Haha it is no preview :) it's a full song I made for a part in my brothers game.
Hah no we fucking aren't :p I'm no better then anyone else :)
The song had to be this lenght because the part in my bros game was just a said scene showing how the main characters home and family was burned.
So it was kind of short. And I made the song fit the scene.
Cheers ;)

Enjoy my music :)
